The most common and dangerous symptom of herpes is the out break of painful blisters that itch and are filled with fluid particularly around the sexual organs. In case of oral herpes, these symptoms are seen near lips. Symptoms are very much similar to that of flu like muscle aches, fever, fatigue and headache. These blisters generally gat disappear even without treatment but virus still remains in the body.

5 to 8 outbreaks per year are generally experienced by the people who keep on decreasing as time proceeds. Oral herpes recur monthly or one to two times a year.

This disease doesn’t have a reliable treatment as the medication attacks the virus which lies dormant in the nerve cells and attacking the virus will indirectly mean damaging the nerve cells. Alternatively, one can go for some acute treatment to get some relief.
